# What this site stores about a reader

Close to nothing, and the short version is the honest one. Every plate here is a file on a web server.
There is nothing to sign up to, nothing to log in to, no form to fill in and no wallet to connect, so a
reader opens a plate, reads it and leaves without this site learning who they were.

## What never happens on a plate

- This site sets no cookie of any kind, including one that would recognise a reader coming back.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking script runs here. There is no counter, no tag container, no
  measurement pixel and no advertising identifier, and nothing of that sort is shared with any other
  site, in this trade or outside it.
- Nothing on a plate is fetched from another company while it is being read. Both typefaces are
  files on this server, and every chart and ladder is drawn inside the page itself, so no third
  party is told that a plate here was opened.
- There are no accounts, no comments, no ratings, no newsletter and no search box. The one way to
  reach the desk is to write to it, and that is a choice a reader makes rather than a field to fill
  in on the way past.

## Which plate was asked for, and from where

The web server keeps the access log that every web server keeps, and nothing beyond it: the address
a request came from, the moment it arrived, the plate asked for, the response code, the bytes sent
back, the identifying line the browser supplies and the page a link was followed from where the
browser supplies one. It exists to keep the site answering and to show when something is hammering
it.

Entries are deleted after 14 days. While they are there they are read by nobody but the desk keeping
this site up. Nothing is copied out of the log into anything longer-lived, no picture of a reader is
assembled from it, it is never matched against a list from somewhere else, and it is neither sold
nor handed to anyone for marketing.

## Where a link takes you

The addresses that leave this site go to the places the figures came from — a venue's margin
schedule, its fee page, an audit report. They are printed plainly, with no tracking parameter and no
referral code attached, so following one tells us nothing at all. What happens after the click is
that venue's business and is covered by whatever it publishes about cookies and logs, not by this
note.

## The project that used to publish here

Requests still arrive for addresses that belonged to the project this domain carried until 2025,
among them a signup form. They are answered by the not-found plate. Nothing that anyone left on that
site is held on this one: no account, no waitlist, no mailing list and no database came across with
the domain, and none has been asked for since.

## Asking for a removal

Write to corrections@aurascopeapp.com. Say what should go — a log entry from a date and an
address, an earlier message, the whole exchange — and it is removed, with a reply confirming it
rather than a ticket number.

A message sent to that address is kept for one reason, which is to answer it, and it is deleted once
the matter is closed. The same address takes a figure you can disprove, which is the faster of the
two things it is used for.
